About Me
In the late 90's, having joined the military at a young age Tony Welsh was one of an era of soldiers to be faced with operating in hostile environments with questionable levels of protection, stirring his interest in body armour technologies, appropriateness of protection afforded and international certifications.

After 13 years’ service he decided on a change of career and began working in the private security sector, operating in the UK and overseas; evaluating the body armour provisions of companies as he did so.

Tony now dedicates his time as the UK’s leading independent consultant on the subject matter, to share the knowledge he has gained over these years to ensure that all frontline professionals are wearing the right protection for today’s threats.
